Biography
Dee Hansford spent a decade and a half with the Walt Disney Company in roles that encompassed marketing, communications and employee recognition. As manager of Walt Disney World's Cast Communications department, she led a team who revamped the company newsletter with a readership of over 35,000 cast members. Revenues from paid advertising from the publication increased four-fold. In her role as manager of Disney's Cast Recognition department, Ms. Hansford and her team gathered input from over 1,000 cast members to design and implement Walt Disney World's first global recognition program, Partners In Excellence. Participation in the program increased 76% in one year while cast satisfaction ratings of local day-to-day recognition increased 15%.
Dee is now a full-time consultant, coach, speaker and author helping organizations achieve their goals. Successful collaborations include California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), The Orlando Sentinel, Universal Studios Orlando, The California Department of Fish and Game, Walt Disney World Dolphin, Give Kids The World Village and Walt Disney World Marketing.
